United Goals, Shared Commitment
By joining hands, these 13 institutions aim to:
- Strengthen Public Health Education: Develop standardized, competency-based curricula for MPH and related programs.
- Promote Collaborative Research: Encourage multi-institutional, evidence-driven studies that inform national and regional health policies.
- Advance Public Health Practice: Implement joint capacity-building programs, workshops, and field projects to translate learning into community impact.
- Foster Equity and Innovation: Ensure that education and practice are inclusive, future-ready, and aligned with India’s diverse health needs.
Through NSPHI, these institutions will work collectively to bridge the gap between academia and practice, creating a connected, resilient, and effective public health ecosystem.
Global Learning, Local Impact
Drawing inspiration from global networks such as ASPPH (USA), ASPHER (Europe), and CAPHIA/APACPH (Asia-Pacific), NSPHI integrates international best practices while tailoring them to India’s unique context. This approach ensures that the network not only matches global standards but also contributes original, India-driven solutions to the world’s public health dialogue.
Looking Ahead
With the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) hosting the NSPHI Secretariat, the network is set to provide strategic leadership, coordination, and support for its members. Together, these founding institutions will guide the next phase of growth — nurturing skilled public health professionals, advancing collaborative research, and shaping policies that drive meaningful change.
The launch of NSPHI is not just an event; it is the beginning of a shared journey — a journey toward a healthier, more equitable India powered by collaboration and knowledge.
